After the rave reviews for the recently released Malayalam thriller Mohanlal starrer 'Drishyam 2', director Jeethu Joseph has confirmed that 'Drishyam 3' is in the works saying that he has written a magnificent climax for the third part of the hit film.
'Drishyam 3' will be the sequel of Mohanlal's 2021 movie 'Drishyam 2' that takes ahead the story from where it ended in the second film. Jeethu has also talked about the release date of 'Drishyam 3'.
'Drishyam 3' will be the final part of the series and Jeethu has said that the film will not be releasing anytime soon as he still needs to figure out a few things related to the script.
Speaking to the media, Jeethu Joseph made this announcement at a press conference at Kottayam Press Club in Kerala. He said, "I discussed the climax of Drishyam 3 with Mohanlal and producer Antony Perumbavoor and they liked it. But, the shooting of Drishyam 3 will not happen soon. It will take at least three years from now for the film to go on floors. Some things still need to be clarified in the script. I will add new things when I get them," India.com reported.
As for 'Drishyam 2', the film, apart from Mohanlal, starred Meena, Siddique, Asha Sharath, Murali Gopy, Ansiba, Esther, and Saikumar in key roles.
According to DNA's review of 'Drishyam 2', " THe film has the magic of the first instalment and will leave one's mindblown with several twists and turns in the last hour of the film. Drishyam 2 is not to be missed by anyone who liked the first part irrespective of the language one watches it in. The film will make you think for hours after you have completed watching it."
