Instead of shooting for photos for their film posters, filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali has decided that every poster of his film Rowdy Rathore will be hand-painted by street artists. According to Bhansali, this will provide a much-needed rustic feeling to the film.
“Two painters toiled for six hours to produce the second poster for the film. It requires a detailed process for the poster to get prepared. First a photograph needs to get shot and then Akshay and Sonakshi pose in front of the painters. The pose also has to be held till the painters get the drawings right,” says a source.
Bhansali who is a co-producer of the film apparently is leaving no-stone unturned because it has become a prestige issue for him. “Bhansali knows that he has to deliver a hit post the debacle of Guzaarish. He is treating it as a prestige issue and is frequently calling meetings with his production team to ensure that everything is perfected,” the source adds.
Bhansali will be producing two more films after this one according to sources.
