They have bared their lives on a television show and have scorched the ramp for years. They are lovingly called the Khan sisters- Gauahar Khan and Nigaar Khan. And now, Nigaar has tied the knot with her long time boyfriend Khayyam Sheikh on Thursday. With this being a grand family affair, Gauhar took to Twitter to update everyone about her sister's wedding.

Who's the groom?
Nigaar and Khayyam have been in love for years before they decided to tie the knot and get hitched. Khayyam is a Pakistani businessman who's settled in Abu Dhabi, Dubai.
How they met?
While most couples-in-love meet through their common friends or social networking sites, Nigaar met her Prince Charming through her cousins. Sparks flew and here they are now, a married couple.
Bye, Bye Mumbai!
Given that Khayyam is based in Abu Dhabi, Nigaar is also going to shift to Dubai now. Bidding goodbye to Mumbai, Nigaar also told a leading daily that she knew that if she has to 'ever move out of India, the guy would have to be really worth it'. Guess, Nigaar has got the man of her dreams.
When did it happen?
The family had zoomed off to Dubai almost a week ago and started the preparations for the wedding. Gauahar Khan too finally reached Dubai, despite the numerous problems she faced to reach the location. The wedding happened on Thursday and was a close intimate affair
Who all invited?
Nigaar's shaadi was a close, intimate affair with only close friends and family from both sides attending the wedding.
The mehndi and sangeet:
The family organised the mehndi and sangeet ceremonies a day before the wedding.
Mere behen ki shaadi hai!
Gauhar Khan rocked an Astha Narang mint lehenga for the sangeet whereas for the wedding, she chose to wear a pink Surendri lehenga and clubbed it with a maatha patti and huge earrings.
A reception?
While the family chose to have an intimate wedding, the Khans are planning to host a grand reception in Mumbai soon.
