All you need to know about the 'Bigg Boss Season 8' Grand Premiere

Finally Colors TV is back with the eighth edition of its controversial reality show- Bigg Boss. Like all other seasons, Bigg Boss Season 8 also has a new theme. This year's theme is 'Aircraft' and the BB08 flight took off in style. Salman Khan returned as the host for another season, dressed up in a pilot avatar. There has been endless conjecture about the contestants this season. Here's a wrap up of how the Season Premiere panned out. 

The final three contestants for 'Bigg Boss' revealed

After 12 passengers were packed into the Bigg Boss aircraft, Bigg Boss unveiled its trump card. Bringing in an innovative twist on the show, Bigg Boss has tagged the final three contestants- Puneet Issar, RJ Preetam and Deepshikha Nagpal as the Bigg Boss secret society. Not only will these three Bigg Boss agents have the power to dominate all the other passengers on the plane, they would also be safe from all nominations. Well, to some this twist must have seemed great but we say its too bland specially after Bigg Boss has gained a nice reputation of putting some delicious twists throughout its seasons. 

Minissha Lamba is the twelfth contestant on the show

Bubbly and vivacious, Minissha Lamba started her Bollywood journey in Shoojit Sircar's Yahaan which went on to win hearts all over. She was lauded for her nuanced performances and she went on to do several other films, most of which bombed at the box office. Zila Ghaziabad was her last prominent Hindi film which sank without a trace. With her Bollywood career on the downturn, Minissha will definitely look forward to her Bigg Boss 8 stint. Given that she is usually cordial and sweet, it would be nice to see how long she survives in a house full of controversies!

Natasa Stankovic who is the latest one to enter the plane is busy clicking selfies with Salman Khan. After her selfie moment with our Sallu bhai, she has also been sent to the cold chamber with Arya Babbar. But the videsi girl pulls Arya out and brings him to the plane as well.

Serbian actress Natasa Stankovic enters Bigg Boss 8

The Serbian heroine will be Bigg Boss' foreign import. Natasha was seen in an item number in the Ajay Devgn-Kareena Kapoor starrer Satyagraha and she was Ranveer Singh's girl in the much famous 'Do-The -Rex' condom ad! With the guys lining up for this hottie, things sure will get interesting.

Praneet Bhatt aka Shakuni enters the Bigg Boss plane

On-screen Shakuni from Mahabharata, Praneet Bhatt as we had speculated, had been offered to be a part of the show. Now that he is a part of the real life Mahabharat also famous as Bigg Boss, we will see how much of chhal-kapat he uses to make his way to the finale.

With the show being convoluted, it is confusing to know who the contestants are and who aren't. After staging a fight with Gautam, now it is revealed that Sargun was never a part of the show. She is not a contestant on the show. 

Sargun Mehta starts quarreling with Gautam Gulati

Even before the show could start, TV actors Sargun and Gautam have already started fighting. If this is what happens in the beginning, we wonder what would happen when we progress with the show. 

After Karishma Tanna, Bigg Boss 8 also has three other TV stars who are entering the Bigg Boss 8 plane. Gautam Gulati of Diya Aur Baati Hum, Sukirti Kandpal of Dil Mil Gaye join the seven other Bigg Boss contestants along with Phulwa famed Sargun Mehta.

After Sushant showed his brilliant dancing skills jiving to the 'Drama Queen' number, he asked Salman to dance with him on 'Fevicol'. Salman Khan made him happy by dancing with him on 'Jumme Ki Raat' instead!

Mr Gay India 2014 Sushant Divgikar enters the show

Like each year, the show has a gay contestant representing the LGBT community. Sushant Divgikar who rose to fame after winning the Mr Gay India 2014 crown is all set to enter the house. And his entry song being synonymous with his character, Sushant will definitely turn out to be the biggest drama queen in the house. Remember Andy, anyone?

Diandra Soares joins Karishma Tanna and Sonali Raut in the secret chamber

After putting Arya Babbar in the cold chamber, the Bigg Boss 8 team sent model Diandra Soares in a secret chamber and asked to pick one of the two lovely ladies already locked in the chamber - Karishma Tanna and Sonali Raut. Diandra chose Karishma and now, let's see what happens next! 

Model Diandra Soares who recently grabbed headlines for going bald has now entered the bigg Boss aircraft. Guththi introduces her to the audiences.

Sunil Grover spreads some Guththi love on the Bigg Boss 8 stage

Sunil Grover has taken over the Bigg Boss stage in his much loved Guththi avatar. Sunil Grover introduces the new contestant on the show.

Bigg Boss 8 has a separate cold chamber 

Revealing another twist, Arya Babbar has been transported to a seemingly cold chamber with temperatures as low as freezing. The cold chamber which Salman famously calls 'Bigg Boss ka Switzerland' is separated from the actual aircraft in which Upen and Soni are being put. Now only time will unravel its secrets.

Yet another failed star kid who's filmy career failed to take off, Arya Babbar have played some really unforgettable roles- from Tees Maar Khan to Joker and Dangerous Ishq to name a few. His only role to date was the miniscule portion from Salman Khan's Ready and given he's already acted in a Salman film, there's no point for guessing that he would enjoy a special soft corner from the host. Hot-headed and temperamental, Arya can even do another Armaan Kohli this season. Call it a coincidence, Armaan is the one who introduces him performing together on the title track from Singham

Soni Singh enters the Bigg Boss aircraft

The fourth contestant to enter the show is TV actress Soni Singh. She has acted in serials like Jhansi ki Rani and was last seen in Saraswatichandra. 

Salman Khan finally reveals the biggest twist of the season.

Upen Patel enters the house to find that there is no house for the season. The Bigg Boss contestants will be locked up only inside an aeroplane built. With just 12 seats and a bathroom, it seems Bigg Boss 8 will give all the inmates a tough time. 

Upen Patel is finally taken to the Bigg Boss house in a grand style. Blindfolded, Upen lands up in the house with a huge parachute.

Salman Khan and Elli Avram go on a treasure hunt and reveal contents from Upen's suitcase. All they found was a pink bra and his inners along with a red polka dotted boxer! 

Karishma Tanna and Sonali Raut are the first two contestants of 'Bigg Boss 8'

TV star Karishma Tanna is all set to raise the oomph level on the show. But other than that, she will be one of the toughest contenders on the show and given the show's previous winners, Karishma might just even end up as the winner. Only if she keeps a tab on all her melodrama!

Sonali Raut was one the first person to publicise her entry on the show and if you still cannot recollect who she is, we don't blame you! She was Himesh Reshammiya's girl in The Expose. Hot and seductive, she might also bring the house down with her maneuvers. Have you forgotten the ugly spat between her and the other heroine from the film?
