Allu Arjun gets teary-eyed, hugs Pushpa director Sukumar tight as he becomes the first Telugu actor to win National Film Award.

Allu Arjun has created history by becoming the first Telugu actor to win the National Film Award. The actor’s video celebrating Pushpa: The Rise’s director Sukumar is going viral on social media. 

On Thursday, Mythri Movie Makers took to their Instagram and shared the celebration video of Allu Arjun and Sukumar after the actor won Best Actor for Pushpa: The Rise at the 69th National Film Award. The producers of the film captioned the post, “Maverick director @aryasukku and our producers #NaveenYerneni gar and #RaviShankar garu shower their happiness and love on Icon Star
@alluarjunonline for becoming The first actor from TFI to win the best actor at the National Awards.”

In the video, everyone was heard clapping and hooting for Allu Arjun as he was announced the Best Actor for Pushpa. The actor was seen getting emotional and sharing a tight hug with filmmaker Sukumar. Allu Arjun’s wife Sneha was also seen getting emotional and happy at the same time. The actor’s children were also seen cheering for their father as he won the prestigious award. 

Celebrating the milestone, the official Twitter handle of Pushpa shared, “After ruling the box office, it is PUSHPA RAJ'S RULE at the #NationalAwards Icon Star @alluarjun BECOMES THE FIRST ACTOR FROM TFI to win the BEST ACTOR at the National Awards #AlluArjun Wins the Best Actor at the 69th National Awards for #Pushpa.”

Helmed by Sukumar, Pushpa The Rise stars Allu Arjun, Fahadh Faasil, and Rashmika Mandanna among others in key roles. Released on December 17, 2021, the movie garnered immense praise from the audience and went on to be a blockbuster. 

Now, the sequel to the movie titled Pushpa: The Rule is all set to enthrall the audience. The first look of the movie has already impressed the fans who can’t wait to see Allu Arjun deliver the magic as Pushpa once again on the big screen.
