The AIB Knocokout that premiered on YouTube on January 28 amidst a lot of fan fare landed up in controversy with the Maharashtra government calling for a probe. While the team decided to pull the controversial video down, most Bollywood celebrities have shown their displeasure at such a protest. The latest addition being Anushka Sharma.
"I don't understand why so much is made out of the thing. It was a fun show meant only to entertain. It was not meant to disrespect anyone. It was not meant to be taken seriously at all. And more than that, I feel there's a lot many things that people can be fighting for and dealing with at the moment than just the AIB controversy", Anushka said.
Anushka's NH10- a gripping, engaging thriller also has some sequences with cuss words used. The actress quickly retorted, "There are gaalis in our films because it is more of a realistic film. The way you have seen the trailer now is the way it will be uploaded on YouTube and this is what you will see in the film too"
Producer director Vikramaditya Motwane added, "Our film has got an A certificate and the trailer too is A certified. We are cool with that"
NH10 releases on March 6 and stars Neil Bhoopalam, Darshan Kumaar alongside Anushka.
