Director-producer Anwar Rasheed has now decided to bid adieu to FEFKA and Film Producers Association. In an interview given to a media organisation down South, Anwar confirmed the same development and claimed that his relations with FEFKA is almost 'non-functional'.
Rasheed also claimed that the FEFKA and FPA have not shown any keen interest in curbing piracy and have rather maitained a very cold shoulder to him. Since the last few weeks, pirated DVDs of his last venture Premam have been circulating in the market. Utterly let down by the same, he called the anti piracy cell 'dysfunctional'. Despite giving them all the details of the shops which sell the pirated DVDs, the authorities haven't taken any action, Anwar revealed.
Eventually, Rasheed has told the media organisation that he and the Premam team will continue their battle against piracy and he also added that he will be actively involved in filmmaking, sans the membership of any film organisation.
