Ashar Parekh's autobiography The Hit Girl was launched last week and the veteran heroine who is known to have been one of the most popular yesteryear actresses finally admitted to something she's hidden from the prying eyes of the media for decades.

There have been several speculations regarding the affair between Parekh and Nasir Hussain but she had always evaded the question. They never admitted to being in love. But now, in her book she has made some candid confessions regarding the same.

Asha ji told IANS, "Yes, Nasir Saab was the only man I ever loved. It would've been worthless to write an autobiography if I didn't write about the people who mattered in my life."

Despite her relationship with Hussain, she has always maintained a warm equation with his family. Hussain's grandson Imran Khan was present at the book launch as well. Asha ji said, "I was never a homebreaker. There was never any ill will between me and Nasir Saab's family. In fact, I was so happy to see Nusrat (Hussain's daughter) and Imran at my book launch. I feel I've lived my life decently and without hurting anyone."
