Ashutosh Gowariker's period thriller based on the Chittagong uprising during the freedom struggle Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Sey is slated for a worldwide release on December 3.
The film stars Abhishek Bachchan and Deepika Padukone along with Vishakha Singh, Samrat Mukherji, Sikander Kher, Maninder Singh, Feroz Wahid Khan and Shreyas Pandit.
Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Sey is based on the book Do And Die by Manini Chatterjee which centres around the Chittagong Uprising of the 1930s.
The film has been shot mostly in Goa along with portions in Mumbai.
Commenting on the association, Ajay Bijli and Sanjeev Kumar Bijli, Directors of PVR Limited said, "We are very excited to be partnering with AGPPL for one of our most awaited films Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Sey.
Ashutosh described the film as an inspirational movie, that should be watched by the current generation.
This film is very much in line with our philosophy to touch, move and inspire audiences through the language of films, he said.
Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Sey is presented by AGPPL and PVR Pictures and is jointly produced by Ajay Bijli, Sanjeev Bijli and Sunita A Gowariker.
Other credits include lyrics by Javed Akhtar, music Sohail Sen, costume designer Neeta Lulla, art director Nitin Desai and director of photography Kiiran Deohans.
