The popular Holly action-comedy series Austin Powers, has been revived but this time in desi avatar. Actors Tusshar and Riteish Deshmukh are soon going to be seen playing the famous character essayed by Mike Myers.
A source tells us, “The Kya Super Kool Hain Hum team was supposed to shoot a video for the song Dil garden garden. Now, they have taken inspiration from the crazy and funny Austin Powers series. An elaborate set costing over Rs1 crore was erected to recreate the colourful elements of the Mike Myers series.
The song is being choreographed by Bosco and Caesar. The four actors including Neha Sharma and Sarah Jane Dias, were put through three days of rigorous rehearsals to get the moves right.
The producers were keen to make the track seem as authentic or close to the Austin Powers series. Tusshar and Riteish are sporting the same look donned by Mike in those films.”
