'Baahubali' beats Aamir Khan’s 'PK' in USA
The SS Rajamouli directorial has opened to a better response than Aamir Khan’s PK in the USA.
SS Rajamouli had dreamt of making the biggest Indian motion picture ever. His dream came to life when his magnum opus Baahubali hit screens on Friday. Amidst all the craze, fanaticism, euphoria and hype, Baahubali has managed to strike a chord with the audiences. So much that it has taken the box office by a storm.
Not just that, the film which stars Prabhas and Rana Daggubati have opened to a bombastic response in the international markets, beating Aamir Khan’s PK opening. Yes, you heard it right. Baahubali has witnessed a better first day collections at the US box office than PK. While PK had collected around $0.97 million on its first day, Baahubali raked in almost $1.3 million on its opening day in the US itself.
With that, Baahubali has beaten Aamir Khan’s PK records and hit a home run right on its first day. Will it be able to create the same magic in India? Let’s see.
