Trust Amitabh Bachchan to not have forgotten his roots or old friends, especially in Kolkata. The actor’s first job in the city was at Bird and Co. A few years and a couple of companies later, he worked for the shipping and freight brokers’ company Blacker & Co. In fact, the job came to him from the managing director of the firm, Bir Pratap Shrikent, Shrikent was also a school and college senior.

Today, he’s supporting the music of Druv Kent, Shrikent’s Singapore-based singer/songwriter son Druv Kent. Druv’s latest single is What It’s All About, while his single I’m Still Riding is a tribute to his father.
