After a surprise mid week eviction where Mahek Chahal was shown the door, it was time for yet another eviction on Saturday. The latest contestant to be axed from the show is Rahul Mahajan.
Mahajan who entered the show as a Challenger has somehow been one of the most prominent faces on the show this year. While his entry did create a frenzy, given that his estranged wife Dimpy Mahajan is already inside the house as a contestant, the three weeks that he spent in the house have been memorable for the couple. Although the couple were seen bonding with each other, it's still not evident if the two are planning to give their rocky marriage a second chance.
While Rahul initially tried to maintain distance from Dimpy, eventually he started taking strong stances for her- be it against Ali Quli Mirza, Karishma Tanna or Sambhavna Seth. Dimpy, Rahul and Ali were in the danger zone after Sambhavna Seth was saved from the eviction.
Now with Rahul leaving, the house is left with the 5 Champions- Ali, Pritam, Dimpy, Karishma and Gautam- and just one Challenger- Sambhavna Seth- who will head for the Finale Week. The Bigg Boss Grand Finale is scheduled for January 30 where an ultimate Champion among the top 6 will be crowned.
