‘Unconferencing’ has now caught the fancy of Indian bloggers. The first bloggers unconference was held in Chennai and the next one will be held in Pune on June 16. Tarun Chandel, one of the organisers of the event, says, “An unconference is a meeting that doesn’t have an agenda. The speakers as well as the listeners are allowed to discuss whatever they want to. At the end, everybody walks out learning something new.” He adds, “The discussion will take its own course. Though, it is expected that the focus of this discussion would be new blogging trends and networking.”
Parag Shah, whose blog is dedicated on computer software, says, “Bloggers unconference is a great idea. It should be a great learning and a networking platform.” Around seventy bloggers have enrolled to attend the event. Deepti Khanna, an active blogger who writes on lifestyle and philosophy, says, “I am looking forward to the unconference; it will be great if I get an opportunity to learn more about blogging trends.”
