This film is set to open in theatres on Friday, May 20, and there's a big buzz about it. Brahmotsavam stars Mahesh Babu with three heroines and numerous other senior actors. It is said to be a different film for Mahesh and the second one he has done with director Srikanth Addala. Here are five reasons why you should watch this film:
The Prince of Tollywood
Mahesh Babu aka Prince of Tollywood is the star of the film so what more could one ask for? The handsome star plays a simple Vijayawada man in this family drama directed by Srikanth Addala. This movie comes after his superhit film Srimanthudu and expectations are high. Mahesh Babu has said he loved working on the film and since he likes to explore new subjects, this will be another feather in his golden cap. It is said that he got very emotional while dubbing for the climax of the film so it looks like this movie is close to his heart. He has stated that he lived the film rather than just acted as the lead.
Three beautiful heroines
Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Kajal Aggarwal and Pranitha Subhash are the three gorgeous women who will be seen with Mahesh Babu in the film. While Samantha and Kajal have full-length roles, it is said that Pranitha has a cameo in the film. When Mahesh Babu was asked to describe Kajal Aggarwal during an interview, he said she was beautiful. When he was asked about Samantha, he said she is even more beautiful!
Director Srikanth Addala
Srikanth Addala has worked with Mahesh Babu earlier in Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu (SVSC) but he has scripted a different type of film in Brahmotsavam. This movie is about a man who is on a journey of self-discovery and according to the director all the three heroines in the film are key to the hero’s life. Srikanth has stated that Brahmotsavam is a celebration of life and he wants the audience to enjoy the film and celebrate their lives as well.
More than 20 well-known actors in the film!
Brahmotsavam is truly a celebration because there are more than 20 notable names in the film. In fact, Mahesh Babu stated that he was overwhelmed when he saw so many well-known actors on the set but he got used to it with time. Revathi, Sathyaraj, Jayasudha, Brahmaji, Naresh, Pavani Gangireddy, Subhalekha Sudhakar, Saranya Ponvannan, Eshwari Rao, Rao Ramesh, Tanikella Bharani, Sayaji Shinde, Tulasi and Krishna Bhagavan are all part of this big film.
Music by Mickey J Meyer
The music for this film is by Mickey J Meyer who has worked with Srikanth Addala earlier in SVSC. The music director has stated that he used electronic melodies with traditional lyrics to create new sounds for the film. The music has been appreciated by the audience as well.
