Aamir Khan was all set to come one week prior to the release of Shah Rukh Khan's next with Imtiaz Ali and Akshay Kumar's Toilet-Ek Prem Katha. Now, the makers of the small film have decided to push the film ahead.
While Aamir launched the teaser of Secret Superstar in December, also featuring Dangal girl Zaira Wasim in the lead with Aamir doing a special extended cameo in it, the date that was previously announced was August 4. Now, they have postponed the film and it will hit theatres on Diwali 2017.
This also means that Aamir will go head to head against Akshay Kumar and Rajinikanth's mega budget blockbuster Robot 2.0. Initially, Rohit Shetty's Golmaal 4 was also slated to release around Diwali but once Rajni sir announced that the Shankar venture will release worldwide on Diwali, they backed off.
Nevertheless, if it's Akshay vs SRK this August, it will be Akshay vs Aamir in November!
