Carol Ann Susi, popular for playing the iconic voice of Debbie Wolowitz on the hit television sitcom The Big Bang Theory passed away Tuesday morning.
Her agent Pam Ellis-Evenas confirmed to the Los Angeles Times that Susi had been fighting cancer for sometime and had passed away. She was 62.
Before taking up the part of Howard Wolowitz's screechy voiced, loud and domineering mother Susi has been a part of other famous shows like Doogie Howser, M.D along side Neil Patrick Harris, Mad About You, Just Shoot Me and the acclaimed sitcom Seinfeld. She has also acted in several stage productions such as Coyote Woman and Ladies Room.
Currently in its eight season, the actress has had a steady role in CBS's Chuck Lorre and Bill Prady production The Big Bang Theory (TBBT). Even though she never appeared on screen she will be missed for her portrayal of the iconic voice of Howard's mother.
