Amidst a lot of speculations, it has finally been confirmed that Aamir Khan will be seen sharing the screen space with Amitabh Bachchan in Thug.
The movie was first offered to Hrithik Roshan who opted out of it. For a long time buzz has been that Aamir was being considered for the part but there wasn't any official confirmation about the same.
Now, during an interview with a leading portal, Amitabh Bachchan has confirmed that Aamir Khan is very much a part of the film. He said, "It’s a great honour and privilege to be working with Aamir and to be working with Yashraj again and also to work with Victor, I just look forward to that moment” and went on to reveal that Thug may not be the final title of the film.
Reportedly, Yashraj would soon make an official announcement regarding the same. The movie will supposedly go on floors next year. Looks like Big B is pretty excited about the project as he said, "I don’t know if I can talk much about the film at this moment. I haven’t been given permission. All I can say is that it is a very exciting subject.”
Meanwhile, Big B is currently busy promoting his upcoming flick Pink, also starring Taapsee Pannu and Aamir is wrapping up the production of his next titled Dangal.
