Choreographer Ashley Lobo shares why Ajay Devgan, Ayesha Takia and Isha Sharvani top his list of favourites
Ajay Devgan
*I first met him on the sets of 'U, Me aur Hum'. He is very down to earth and direct in his dealings. Ajay treats his unit like family. One can't help but sense the caring and affectionate nature in him.
*Ajay is a man with foresight. When we are thinking of the shooting, he is already thinking of the editing.
*When he wants something to be executed, Ajay will not wait for his team member to do it. He has no qualms about doing it himself.
*He loves to play practical jokes. For a shot in 'U, Me aur Hum', some actors were required to gulp down tequila shots. During the rehearsals, Ajay gave them water. But during, the real scene, he replaced it with tequila!
Isha Sharvani
*I knew Isha's mother Daksha Seth (famed dancer) much before I knew her. She is also a dance teacher and a theatre choreographer.
*I met Isha during the shooting of an advertisement. I had heard rave reviews about her dancing. She proved them right.
*Once, we were trying out a step in which she had to be lifted. It was a difficult step. *But Isha got it right in the second take.
Ayesha Takia
*I had first met her on the sets of 'Socha Na Tha'. That was my first film too.
*Ayesha is fun to be with. She is a natural performer and very much like herself on the screen too. She is still open to be directed and is not pre-conditioned like several others.
*She once said in an interview that she thought I was a task master but also a good teacher. I hadn't realised that I had influenced her in such a positive way. It felt nice.
