For all the fans who have been waiting eagerly for the dates of the season 8 premiere, it's finally out. The series finale of the 'bloody' cool Dexter is starting on June 30.

Even though fans are very disappointed on hearing about the end of a very dramatic journey with the serial killer, the official trailer promises a satisfying end.

Debra Morgan, Dexter's sister looks quite distraught and shaken after she killed Lieutenant Maria LaGuerta and chose to save her 'serial killer' brother. She seems to have taken shelter in the arms of alcohol and boys. Debra is at a constant quarrel with her conscience and is trying her best to ignore Dexter.

Dexter, played by Michael C Hall, on the other hand continues the charade of being a blood spatter analyst for the Miami Metro Police.

However, his peaceful secret vendettas are hindered when a neuro psychiatrist Dr Evelyn Vogel joins the department.

The trailer assures that there is going to be drama, blood, gore and more blood.

With Dexter easily tackling the likes of Ice Truck Killer, Doakes and Trinity; the next villian in the series finale hopefully will be 'badder', more evil and murderous.

One things for sure, this year is the last for the serial killer. The end—we hope—will be 'gasp'worthy.
