Double iSmart: Ram Pothineni, Kavya Thapar flaunt their energetic moves in 'Maar Muntha Chod Chinta' song

After the first track titled 'Steppa Maar' from Double iSmart became an instant hit, the makers have released the lyrical video of the second single titled 'Maar Muntha Chod Chintha' on Tuesday, July 16. The dance number features the film's lead actors Ram Pothineni and Kavya Thapar flaunting their energetic moves that are sure to go viral on social media. The song is sung by Nakash Aziz & Bhoomi Trivedi, written by Raqueeb Alam, and composed by Mani Sharma. 

Talking about the song, Ram Pothineni shared, "It’s a fun dance number composed by Mani Sharma sir. I was quite excited about making a song using Maar Muntha Chod Chinta when Puri sir had shared this thought, as it was from a very popular line from iSmart Shankar. It’s a peppy dance number and a perfect theatrical song for the audiences to vibe with the energy of the song on the big screen."

Apart from Ram and Kavya, Double iSmart features Sanjay Dutt as the main antagonist and is directed by Puri Jagannadh. Produced by Puri and Charmee Kaur under their banner Puri Connects, the science fiction action film is slated to release on August 15, 2024, on the occasion of Independance Day, in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam and Hindi languages.

Double iSmart is the sequel of iSmart Shankar, the science fiction action film which featured Ram Pothineni in the titular role along with Satyadev, Nabha Natesh, and Nidhhi Agerwal in supporting roles. The 2019 release, directed by Puri Jagannadh and co-produced by him and Charmme Kaur, was a commercial success.
