Exclusive: Director Hari reveals Suriya’s 'Singam 3' will take off from where 'Singam 2' ends

It looks like the actor will be starting the project in November.

There is widespread speculation as to what director Hari’s film Singam 3 with Suriya will be like. The first two parts of this series Singam and Singam 2 were superhits in Kollywood.

The latest news is that Suriya and Hari will start the third film in the Singam franchise by end of November. The movie is set to be shot in many locations in India and around the world. In India, the first schedule will kick-start in November in Vishakapatnam and move to other places like Chennai, Thoothukkudy, Karaikudi and Goa.

The portions that need to be shot abroad will be from March 2016 and some countries that have been finalised are Australia, New Zealand and Malaysia. Songs as well scenes for Singam 3 will be canned here. Unlike what was reported by some media, they will not be shooting in Africa. 

Director Hari tells dna that perhaps for the first time in India, the Singam franchise is a true sequel. “The story of Singam 3 is connected to the previous two films and it will take off from where Singam 2 ended,” he reveals.

The lead heroine of the Singam franchise Anushka Shetty plays a pivotal role in this film as well. Shruti Haasan is the other leading lady in Singam 3
