Farah Khan wasn’t always an animal lover. She became one when daughter Anya adopted puppies Gulab and Jamun from the NGO World For All. When recently approached by the studio releasing the animated film, Motu Patlu: King of Kings to hold a screening for her friends, she was also offered a certain amount to host the event.
Farah refused the money, asking them to instead donate it to WFA as animal welfare organisations need funds the most. Farah will be inviting her close friends with their children, her children Czar, Anya and Diva’s school friends with their mothers for the screening which is this Sunday at a mini-theatre in Juhu.
The founder of WFA, Taronesh Bulsara says, “Farah has been supporting us for a couple of years. She, along with her three children, attends our annual adop-a-thon (in the last week of November) every year. They have been a very strong support system for us and even on their birthday party, the triplets had an outdoor puppy play pen where children has a great time. Farah has helped with publicity, donation and adoption. I am extremely thankful to her her for her support.”
