Black Eyed Peas' Fergie jokingly threatened to divorce husband Josh Duhamel for supporting a wrong NFL team.
The singer had support from the men in her life, including Duhamel and Black Eyed Peas bandmates Apl.de.ap and Taboo, as she received the Woman of the Year award at the Billboard Women in Music event yesterday.
But she almost tossed Duhamel from his seat when he expressed loyalty to the Minnesota Vikings as the hosts talked up the Peas' upcoming Super Bowl performance.
"She whipped her head around and corrected him, yelling, 'Go Dolphins!'" the New York Post quoted a witness as saying.
Fergie, who's a minority owner of the team, later jokingly threatened to divorce Duhamel unless he yelled "Go Dolphins" during a Q&A at the event with Today show.
Glee star Lea Michele was awarded Billboard's Triple Threat award, and Jazmine Sullivan got the Rising Star Award and performed for the appreciative crowd.
Female executives including Universal's Sylvia Rhone, MTV Networks' Judy McGrath and BET Network's Debra Lee were named to Billboard's Power Players list.
