Madhya Pradesh culture minister Laxmikant Sharma has said that the state will shortly have its own Film City to make it a viable destination for films.
 
This was announced by the minister while inaugurating the three-day Indian Panorama Film Festival 2010 at Ravindra Bhawan here last evening, an official release said today.
 
"We invite people to come to our state and make films," Sharma said.
 
Stating that there are a number of picturesque places in Madhya Pradesh to make it a film hub, he said that the state government would provide all possible amenities for making a film city in the state.
 
Besides, Madhya Pradesh would also get a National School of Drama in August, the minister said.
 
A number of film personalities including film star Anupam Kher, film director Neeraj Pandey, theatre personality and film maker Jabbar Patel and film director Geetu Mohan Das were also present on the occasion.
