Despite rumours flying that George Lucas has shot 50 episodes of a live-action Star Wars TV series and that the shows are already 'in the can', it seems fans might have to wait a long while before they can catch up with it.
It has emerged that Lucas, who has 50 completed scripts, is still looking for a cost-effective technology.
A Lucasfilm spokesperson has told EW that he is "waiting for a different type of technology" that he can use to make it "economically feasible to shoot the shows," reports Fox News.
Lucas announced last year that the live-action TV series -- set between Revenge of the Sith and A New Hope -- was being postponed.
