The digital space is slowly turning out to be a big avenue for actors and filmmakers alike.
The latest one to jump on board is Bend It Like Beckham director Gurinder Chadha. “An international streaming platform has oapproached Gurinder to make a web series for them. They were in talks with her for a while and now, she has finally given her nod to the idea for the digital series. The project is in the pre-production stage.”
The filmmaker’s last film, Viceroy House, that released in 2017, was a damp squib at the box office.
