Here's what Farhan Akhtar will be playing in Rock On 2!

We had earlier reported that, there would be no romantic angle between Farhan Akhtar and Shraddha Kapoor in Rock On 2. Now reports suggest that Farhan will in fact be essaying the role of a father to a 7 year old son.
In the film, Farhan will continue playing hubby to Prachi Desai (like in the prequel) and they will have a seven year old kid.
"Farhan and Shraddha don't even meet until interval point and that too, they meet over music. Shraddha joins the original band members Farhan, Arjun Rampal, Purab Kohli as a new recruit. Farhan and Shraddha interact over music, and nothing else. There are 10 songs in the film," a source revealed to an online portal.
Says director Shujaat Saudagar, "It's been 7 years. All characters are playing their age. Hence all conflicts are internal and the battles lie within. The story continues from where we left off. But there are some new characters."
The director later adds, "The essence of the plot is to bring out the dynamics of relationships that people share with each other through life. It is about human bonds that go beyond romance and love as we traditionally define them."
