Kangana Ranaut is currently shooting for director Hansal Mehta’s next Simran in the US, but is also multitasking by preparing for her next, a biopic on Rani Lakshmi Bai, to be directed by Ketan Mehta.
The warrior queen of Jhansi, Rani Lakshmi Bai was skilled at horse riding, and so to do justice to the character, Kangs wants master the craft. A source close to the actress has revealed to a tabloid that she has signed up for a crash course in Germany to learn horse riding. Germany is known for horse riding staycations in Bavaria and the Rhine Valley. The course requires Kangana to spend plenty of time with the horses, and so she will be staying in a stable, says the source. “The sessions will provide her with an insight about the breeds of horses, their diet, living conditions, the first-aid required for injuries and their grooming techniques. Kangana is keen to learn the craft, so living in a stable is the best way to prepare for the role,” the insider adds.
Kangana wasn't for a comment when contacted by the tabloid, but her publicist confirmed the buzz saying, “Kangana will finish shooting for Simran soon. Post that she will start promoting Rangoon, which releases early next year. Once she is done with the promotions, she will head to Germany (to learn horse riding)."
