Recently, Indian rapper Badshah apologised to Yo Yo Honey Singh and ended their 15-year feud. The two well-known rappers had a major falling out in 2011 when they left the famous rap group Mafia Mundeer.

Their rivalry was one of the biggest in Indian music. Now, Honey Singh has reacted to the apology while speaking to News 18. When Yo Yo Honey Singh was asked if he was in the mood to be friends with Badshah, he responded, "I don't even understand what he is saying. Have I ever said anything about anyone? People are saying that there was a fallout. I don't understand why people talk about the Honey Singh-Badshah fight. One person talked about me for so many years, and then one day he apologized. What should I say about him?"

Honey Singh further said, "I have nothing to do with him. I don’t even consider him. He was never my friend. If he had been my friend and something had happened, it would have been different. I haven’t seen that video, but I heard he mentioned misunderstandings between us. He had his own thoughts and opinions about me. After many years, he realized, which is a good thing."

Honey Singh added, "May Lord Shiva have mercy on him. I hope he becomes even more successful. I have nothing to do with him. I have close people in my life who are very dear to me. I pray to God that they never become upset with me. If that happens, I would do anything to make them happy again. In my friendships, I have never seen a brother insulting another brother."

Singer-rapper Badshah, publicly resolved his ongoing feud with fellow artist Honey Singh during a concert in Dehradun. Badshah, stopped his performance midway during GraFest 2024 to express his wish to let go of the feud.

He said, "There was a phase in my life where I held this grudge against one, and now I want to call it quits and leave that grudge behind – and that’s Honey Singh. I was unhappy because of some misunderstanding but then I realised when we were together, 'jodne waale bahut kam the, todne waale bahut the.' Today, I just want to let everyone know I’ve left that phase behind and I wish him all the best."

Badshah and Singh are regarded as leading rappers in India and boast a large fan base. The two first began their careers together as members of the rap group Mafia Mundeer, which also featured Ikka, Lil Golu, and Raftaar. The band delivered many popular tracks including Khol Botal, Begani Naar Buri, Delhi Ke Deewane among others. After a public tiff, the duo parted ways and regularly took potshots at each other on social media.
