Debutant actor Amy Jackson is also a teen pageant winner and a model from UK. But like in a typical Bollywood film, she is here in Mumbai with her just-released film and wishes to make the city her second home as her heart now belongs to Bollywood. The pretty lass is rumoured to be romantically involved with her co-star Prateik from Ek Deewana Tha.
Ask her if there’s more to what meets the eye between her and Prateik, and she quickly adds, “Firstly, I have no problems accepting the fact that he is very special and dear to me. I am very close to Prateik. As we both are young and have spent almost five months shooting for the film, it’s obvious we both have become best buddies. Also here in Mumbai, Prateik and I have a lot of common friends so we often hang out together. So the bond I share with him has just become stronger. However, we both are not staying together like many think.”
Now that the film’s released what’s on the agenda for Amy?
“Luckily even before the film has released, work has already come to me. Now I start working on a Telegu film with actor Ramacharan Teja after which I will be working on a Tamil film with actor Vikram and by the end of the year, I will start shooting for my next Hindi film. I cannot share the name of the actor but let me tell you he is awesome.”
