Shah Rukh Khan is seen performing some daring action sequences in his upcoming film Don 2, but the superstar says he was initially skeptical and scared to do the stunts, especially the one in which he had to jump off a 300-feet building.
"I was very scared to do the stunts. I did have a body double but there are certain stunts that I did myself. I had to jump from a building and when I was standing on the edge I wondered, 'why am I doing this and not some romantic film?'.
"But Farhan (Akhtar) helped me a lot. He has skydived some 99 times and that is amazing. In the end it was fun," said Shah Rukh, who was in the capital last night to promote the film.
Shah Rukh had international stunt director Wolfgang Stegemann of the Inglourious Basterds and Valkyrie fame choreograph the action sequences for him in this film.
Don 2 is packed with guns and girls but SRK says he only makes those films which his children can understand and enjoy.
The 46-year-old actor, who is all set to reprise the role of the notorious criminal in the Farhan Akhtar-directed film, says he makes sure that he does not do films which may have a negative impact on children.
"I do films that my children can watch and understand. I have not used foul language that may have ill-effects on children. Children nowadays are very smart, because they have access to the internet and all kinds of programmes on TV. So it is important for me as a father to choose my films responsibly.
