It's every Potter fan's dream to get enrolled into Hogwarts, to follow the Marauder's Map through the twisted turning stairs, sneaking out of the different halls and learning all about the wonderful world that stemmed from JK Rowling's imagination.
Now, shy of visiting the real thing at the Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Orlando, you can enroll online at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
So, how does one sign up for a class?
The site itself is easy to manuever around and looks quite like a regular college site. The enrolment process is really simple, and once you do, you get your own Gringotts vault, and access to the communities that Hogwarts has to offers.
There's no hassel at all to gain admission (unlike actual college sites), you just put in your contact details, and of course get placed in a house of your choice. Sadly, there is no Sorting Hat. But you do get a letter of acceptance, signed by Minerva McGonagall.
What about the expenses?
As soon as you enroll, you gain access to your Gringotts Vault which already has a few galleons, sickles, and knuts for buying supplies. It must be noted that this currencey is purely virtual, the entire experience is free.
And classes?
The site comes with all types of wizarding courses with actual assignments, although you don't have to actually turn them in on a deadline. There are several classes including Charms, Defence Against The Dark Arts, Potions, Herbology and others. All the assignments will be graded just like a actual assignments.
Here are some of the courses that are available
There are several local communities as well, which do sell products and services.
"The newly-established Wizard-Muggle Integration Movement has been working with the local community, most notably Diagon Alley and Hogsmeade, to help bring their products and services online for our students."
You can also browse through your favourite literature.
The site is still relatively new but taking into account the massive amount of fans that have logged in, it shows much promise.
So all Harry Potter fans out there, Sign Up Now.
