Amazon Prime has been consistently creating content for the new and emerging Indian audience in a focused way.
It has roped in some of the most well-known names from the Indian film and television industry and given them a platform to reach out to an audience that's eager to explore itself. Enter, Made in Heaven. An Amazon Prime Exclusive, this show has already experienced a hugely successful first season. Created by Zoya Akhtar and Reema Kagti, the series has now landed actor Ishaan A. Khanna for its second season.
Ishaan first drew attention to himself when he was featured in the thriller web series LSD or Love, Scandal & Doctors. Now, he's all set to test the water on the sets of the Made in Heaven. As the show begins work on season 2, Ishaan has been offered to lend his talent to the already stellar cast. Talking about his experience, Ishaan A. Khanna says, "It was my dream to work with Zoya Akhtar. I have always felt that she imbues an inexplicable sensitivity to all her projects. Made in Heaven is no different. Made in Heaven revolves around entrepreneurs Tara Khanna and Karan Mehra, who run a Delhi-based wedding planning agency. They run a profitable business as uber-rich south Delhi folks are known to shell out a little too generously for "the big, fat Indian weddings." However, behind the surface of glittering lights, sky-high chandeliers, and exquisite apparels lie many uncomfortable truths and secrets that get excavated as the story progresses. All in all, it is a complete package filled with drama, emotions, and entertainment, and season 2 promises to be nothing less.
