Former supermodel Madhu Sapre became a proud mother to a healthy baby girl on Thursday evening. Madhu’s Italian husband Gian Maria was by her side throughout it all.
Informs a source, “Both Gian and Madhu are extremely happy. They are super excited about welcoming the newborn into their life. Their friends and families are overjoyed as well to see the newborn. The baby is healthy, which is the most important thing for the couple. They have named the baby Indira.”
Madhu, who lives in Italy, was in the city to deliver the baby. The model shifted to Riccione in Italy after her marriage with businessman Gian Maria in October 2001.
Madhu continued to shuttle between Mumbai and Italy for work purposes. A heavily pregnant Madhu was seen attending parties till some weeks ago.
She now joins in the long list of new celebrity moms, the most prominent being actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, who delivered baby girl Aaradhya in November and Mahesh Bhupathi and Lara Dutta’s baby girl.
