2016 has seen some of the worst break-ups and failed marriages in the celebrity circles. After Bollywood, now South's one of the most loved couples have decided to call off their relationship. Superstar Rajinikanth's daughter Soundarya Rajinikanth and Ashwin Ramkumar have ended their 6 year old marriage.
While there were fleeting rumours about an impending divorce, Soundarya took to Twitter to confirm the news.
It's heard that dad Rajni tried to settle the dispute and bring the couple to a point of reconciliation but to no avail. They got married amidst much fanfare in 2016 and have a year old son Ved. It now needs to be seen who will take custody of the child.
