Jennifer Lawrence believes that calling somebody fat on TV should be illegal.

The ‘Silver Linings Playbook’ star, who got into a war of words with ‘Fashion Police’ host Joan Rivers for teaching the youth “wrong values”, told journalist Barbara Walters that she didn’t understand why humiliating people was funny, People Magazine reported.

The 23-year-old actress said that she believes the media needs to take responsibility for the effect television shows have on the younger generation and on girls that are picking up how to talk and how to be cool.

Lawrence added that if cigarettes, sex and cuss words are regulated, because of the effect it has on the younger generation, then we should also regulate things like calling people fat.
