The Kapoors — Kareena and Arjun — are through with the shooting of Ki And Ka. The film went on floors in the month of August and in less than two months, it has already been completed. “The entire shoot lasted just 45 days,” informs our source. For the actors, it turned out to be a quickfire experience as their last few films were much more elaborate affairs.

“Kareena spent a good amount of time shooting for Bajrangi Bhaijaan. Similarly, Arjun’s Tevar and Gunday had mega schedules,” an insider adds. “The very nature of these films required many weeks to be spent in the making.”

However, since  Ki And Ka is a much more personalised account where Arjun and Kareena play a married couple in an urban milieu, Balki had everything chalked down in such a manner that the shoot went smoothly with no hindrances.

“After his debut release Ishaqzaade, that was shot in 70 days, Ki And Ka matched Finding Fanny which too was shot in 45 days,” our source says, “It works out for everyone when things are planned well in advance and a director is clear about what he expects from his actors.”

One now awaits the film’s release, expected in the first half of next year.
