Kamal Haasan who has been hosting the Bigg Boss Tamil for three seasons now has been well appreciated for his anchoring skills. The actor successfully completed the third season of the reality TV show on Sunday, October 6, 2019. Like its Hindi counterpart, the show has a huge fan following down south and the season three also garnered love from its viewers. The grand finale over the weekend has Mugen Rao emerging victorious, while Sandy ended up at the second place.
However, other than the winners the latest buzz in the tinsel town says, Kamal Haasan's association with the Bigg Boss hosting channel Vijay TV is about to end. Haasan has also expressed his interest in politics and seems unlikely to renew the agreement with the channel for a new season. His interest in a different field has fans believing the show will be hosted by a new face next season.
A while ago similar speculations has stirred up some rumours and sources close to the actor had cleared the air saying he will not be bidding goodbye to Bigg Boss Tamil. There are also reports claiming Kamal Haasan signed a contract with Vijay TV for two more seasons and it will end 2021. Since elections will be taking place in the same year as the end of his contract fans are wondering if the actor will choose to work with the show or focus on politics. Kamal however, hasn't confirmed or denied any speculations yet.
As for his upcoming projects on the big screen, Kamal Haasan is busy with Indian 2. The Shankar directorial has been delayed for a while now and is said to hit screens in mid-2020. He is also working on Marudhanayagam which is also one of these delayed projects.
