Bollywood filmmaker Karan Johar heaped praise on actor Hrithik Roshan saying he would be apt to play a super hero on screen.
The My Name is Khan director hopes to see Hrithik in the avatar of a different super hero, donning the green costume and carrying the deadly bow and arrow of the infamous vigilante "Arrow".
Arrow, an American television series developed by writer/producers Greg Berlanti, Marc Guggenheim, and Andrew Kreisberg, is based on the DC Comics character Green Arrow, a costumed crime-fighter created by Mort Weisinger and George Papp. The 43-year-old director along with Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt are co-curators of Viacom18's English entertainment channel Colors Infinity.
"As "Arrow" I think Hrithik Roshan is the perfect superhero, you can make him do anything. So be it Arrow, or be it any other kind of avenger, he would be amazing," Karan was quoted as saying in a statement in Mumbai. Hrithik has played the role of a super hero in Krissh 3.
Karan and the Jodhaa Akbar protagonist share a great equation. Hrithik acted in remake of Agneepath, produced by Karan while the director had filmed him in Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham. The two were going to work on Shuddhi but things did not move ahead.
Arrow will premiere on August 23 on Colors Infinity.
