A young fan of Power Star Pawan Kalyan was stabbed to death by a fan another Telugu superstar Jr NTR on Sunday in Kolar, Karnataka following a petty argument.
According to a report in India Today, addressing a crowd in Kolar during an organ donation drive, Vinod had shouted slogans in support of Pawan Kalyan and vowed to extend the organ donation to Tirupati. However, Jr NTR's fan Sunil was angered by such slogans made by Vinod. The same night, the fans gathered at a bar where Sunil and Vinod reportedly got into a fight. Sunil's friend Akshay Kumar stabbed Vinod, added the report. He was rushed to a hospital where the doctors reportedly declared him brought dead.
The accused Akshay was arrested soon after a case was registered against him. Pawan Kalyan visited the family of Vinod on Thursday after he came to know about the incident.
Pawan Kalyan, brother of Telugu superstar Chiranjeevi, had founded a political party 'Jana Sena' in 2014, of which the deceased was an active member of. Jr NTR is the grandson of late actor-turned-politician NT Rama Rao who served as the CM of Andhra Pradesh for three terms.
