Katrina Kaif goes country- hopping

It’s hard for actress Katrina Kaif to remember when was the last time she had a holiday or the last time she spent a day home. Ever since she shot for Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara in Spain, the actor’s been travelling non-stop and continent hopping for the films that follow. First, it was destination Cuba and Turkey for Ek Tha Tiger with Salman Khan then came  London with Shah Rukh Khan, then Bangkok with Salman again and the actor who’s expected to return from her London schedule of the Yash Chopra film will later apparently head to Chicago for Dhoom 3 with Aamir Khan. Says a source, “Katrina’s having travel-packed schedules, and it’s been a long time since she’s had a break. Even the time that she was not shooting for her films were spent in shooting for her endorsements, which she is just as punctual about.” The source adds that even though she was in London the last time around, she barely got to meet her family there, and she didn’t even stay with them. “The shoots were quite far away from the place where her family is based, so that would have meant spending more time travelling, so she instead preferred to move in where the rest of the crew was staying to make it easier to report on time,” says the production insider. “However, she missed them so much that she asked her sisters to fly down to Mumbai with her. But even here she was so busy that she barely got time to spend with them. This time around she’s making sure that she stays with her family in London as she misses them a lot,” adds the insider.

However, a close friend of the star reveals that it’s how Katrina likes her pace to be. “Even if she would take a break, she would find a way to finish off some work or the other. She gets restless if she gets a half a day off,” reveals the friend. “She is usually a very calm person, but hates to sit doing nothing, so we actually wonder what she will do if she ever does take two days off,” adds the friend.
