Malayalam actress Rekha Mohan's body was found inside her flat in Thrissur on Saturday.
According to a report in The News Minute, Rekha's husband who lives in Dubai, contacted the police after failing to get in touch with his wife for two days.
The body has been sent to the Thrissur Medical college and more details will emerge after the post mortem is complete. A case has also been registered.
Rekha Mohan was known for her roles in TV serials like Mayamma and films including 'Udyanapalakan', 'Yathramozhi' and 'Ne Varuvolam.
