KGF Chapter 2 box office collection (Hindi): Yash's film enters 200 crore club

KGF Chapter 2 box office collection: Yash's film is unstoppable at the box office, beats Prabhas starrer Baahubali 2's record in Kerala.

KGF Chapter 2 has become an unbeatable force, and the film continues to dominate the box office in the Hindi belt. As per the early estimates, the Hindi version of KGF Chapter 2 earned a minimum of Rs 25 crores on Monday. This means, that KGF Chapter 2 (Hindi version) has entered the glorious 200-crore club within 5 days of its release. 

In Kerala, KGF Chapter 2 smashed the record of mega-blockbuster Baahubali 2, by earning Rs 32.50 crores in its first 5 days as compared to the latter which had minted Rs 31.5 crore in its first five days at the box office. As per the information shared by Malayalam distributor Muhamed Shiblily, Yash's film collected Rs 4.75 crores on Monday.

On its first day of release itself (April 14), the Yash starrer created history by becoming the biggest opening Hindi film in India beating Hrithik Roshan-Tiger Shroff's War and Aamir Khan-Amitabh Bachchan's Thugs of Hindostan.

Released nationwide on April 14, in Kannada, Telugu, Hindi, Tamil and Malayalam, KGF 2 is written and directed by Prashanth Neel, and produced by Vijay Kiragandur, under the Hombale Films banner. One of the emerging pan-India production houses, Hombale Films is set to showcase some of the biggest films in Indian cinema over the next two years, including the much-awaited film Salaar starring Prabhas. The film is being presented in north Indian markets by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar's Excel Entertainment and AA Films.

​Apart from Yash, the action-packed movie stars Sanjay Dutt as the main antagonist Adheera, Raveena Tandon as India's prime minister Ramika Sen, and Srinidhi Shetty as Reena Desai, Rocky's love interest.
