After getting bored of playing Om in ‘Kahanii Ghar Ghar Ki’ for around 1000 episodes, actor Kiran Karmarkar chose to take a sabbatical from TV and got back to theatre. But apparently he could not keep away from the big magnetism of the small-screen.
He is now reappearing in the show ‘Saarrthi’ as Bankim Ahuja, a business tycoon. This character is apparently inspired by techno-wizard Sabeer Bhatia. Bankim Ahuja is reportedly a high-profile guy with grounded values.
After the maudlin excesses of Om, Kiran is looking forward to this ‘real’ avatar.
