Kylie Minogue is set to release a coffee table book called Kylie/Fashion, in a bid to celebrate the key fashion moments from her 25-year-long career
Throughout her career, the 44-year-old pop diva has been recognised as much for her style as for her chart-topping music.
Kylie/Fashion, has been curated by William Baker, the singer’s long-standing creative director, and features an introduction written by Jean Paul Gaultier, with whom she has worked numerous times.
The book follows Minogue’s sartorial journey from Locomotion, to Can’t Get You Out Of My Head, to her most recent world tour, Aphrodite.
The book also includes texts by the likes of Dolce and Gabbana - who created the outfits for her 2011 Aphrodite tour - Christopher Kane, Giles Deacon, Christian Louboutin and Stella McCartney
“This book charts my relationship with some of the most talented people in fashion throughout my career,” the Telegraph quoted Minogue as saying.
“It makes me very proud to see gathered together all the great designers and houses I’ve worked with over the years."
“Looking through my personal archives has been a real trip down memory lane and it is the fashion that brings back moments and memories of the last twenty-five years,” she said
Featuring iconic images as well as unseen archive photographs, fashion sketches and video stills, the book is just part of her year-long ‘K25’ anniversary celebrations, which have also included the orchestral re-release of some of her most-loved hits.
