Pop diva Lady Gaga has scored as many as 13 nominations at the MTV's 2010 Video Music Awards (VMAs), the most ever for an artist in a single year. Some of the categories in which the 24-year-old singer is eligible to snag a Moonman trophy are best pop video, best dance music video, best female video, best choreography, and video of the year."I'm so honoured for all the little monsters and self-professed freaks of the universe, to have more VMA nominations in a single year than any artist in MTV history," News.com.au quoted the singer as saying in a statement. She went on to say she was proud to have received an "unlucky" number of nominations - 13 - and that God put her on earth for three reasons: "To make loud music, gay videos and cause a damn raucous [sic]. Thank you, MTV!"The awards ceremony will be held on September 12.
