American singer Lady Gaga has been tested for lupus. It is the same genetic disease that killed the singer's aunt.
Lupus is a disease that causes the immune system to attack the body.
The 24-year-old singer has sought medical advice for a number of problems including breathing difficulties, blurred vision, stress and headaches since 2009.
But Gaga said that she does not want her fans to worry about her health.
"Yes, I have been tested. But I don't want anyone to be worried. I have heart palpitations but it's OK. It's just from fatigue and other things," the Daily Star quoted Lady Gaga as telling the Times.
"I'm very connected to my aunt, Joanne, who died of lupus. It's a very personal thing. I don't want my fans to be worried about me," she added.
