I feel that, today, we as a nation are a self-absorbed lot. We just don’t have the patience or the ability to listen or be empathetic towards fellow human beings. Jumping a queue, honking at pedestrians, has become a norm for us. Also, everybody has an opinion these days. We don’t think twice before pointing out faults or being judgmental. But what we forget is to change ourselves for the better.
I really wish this attitude alters over time. We as people of a thinking country, become more sensitive to our surroundings, to people around us and have the ability to be tolerant. Let us not just condemn and form opinions, but take some action in our own little ways, for a better life for us and others around us.
