In a statement that was released, Madhavan stated, "I'm fortunate to be a part of 'Savdhaan India' as this show discloses eye-opening stories that are prevailing in our country and aims to (make) aware masses and fight against these crimes. With the increasing competition, the pressure from the parents has also increased, which is leading to the large number of suicides among children. It's high time some awareness needs to be spread about this issue."
Madhavan is a father himself and spends a lot of time with his son Vedant. 'Savdhaan India' is a show that airs on Life OK. It revolves around crime stories inspired by real life events.
